Day 1 : Day 1: Welcome to Cairo – The capital of Egypt.

Welcome to Egypt - the Land of the Pharaohs. On arrival meet your friendly Travel professional outside the baggage are and proceed to your conveniently located hotel. (Check-in after 15:00). Overnight in Cairo.

Dinner,

Day 2 : Visit the Pyramids of Giza & the Sphinx. Guided tour of National Museum of Egyptian civilization and the royal mummies hall. Enjoy the sound & light show (subject to operation) in the evening.

Today we see the Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure (entrance to the Pyramids are not included). View the Sphinx craved from the natural bedrock at the bottom of the causeway to Khafre’s pyramid.

Visit the Papyrus shop to understand the ancient art of writing sample different combinations of Perfume at the perfume factory and appreciate the quality of world famous Egyptian Cotton.

Visit the National Museum of Egyptian Civiliazation, which houses over 1,00,000 antiquities from every period of ancient Egyptian history with entrance to royal mummies hall.

Later this evening,experience the spectacular Sound and Light Show (subject to operation) at the Giza Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure and enjoy the history of the ancient Egyptians. The show begins with the story of the Sphinx who has been the vigilant guardian of the Pyramids for five thousand years.

Day 3 : Day 03: Fly to Aswan. Visit High Dam & Unfinished Obelisk. Welcome on board the Cruise on River Nile. Visit Nubian Village. Enjoy the Sound & Light Show at the Philae Temple (subject to operation).

Early morning drive to the airport for your flight to Aswan. On arrival proceed to visit the High Dam - the pride of Egypt and an ideal spot for a panoramic view of Aswan. View the Unfinished Obelisk – the Obelisk was never detached from the rock as it developed cracks in several places. Board the legendary Nile river cruise for a three day journey on the scenic Nile River. Visit Nubia village, known for their colourful streets and the rainbow painted walls. It’s a traditional village with vivid coloured houses, spice shops and cafes overlooking the Nile river. In the evening experience the spectacular Sound & Light show (subject to operation) at the Philae Temple. Travel through history and discover the secret behind the name Philae. Philae comes from the ancient Egyptian word Pilak which stands for the “Remote place”. Large number of temples were consturcted on the island of Philae. Overnight on-board the Nile Cruise

Day 4 : Day 04: Onboard Cruise – Visit Abu Simbel and Temple of Kom Ombo.

Early morning visit Abu Simbel by coach. Abu Simbel has two magnificent temples, the temple of Ramesses II and the Temple of Nefertari. The Temples were threatened by submersion in the Lake Nasser, due to the construction of the High Dam. During the salvage operation which continued until 1968, the two temples were dismantled and raised over 60 meters up on the sandstone cliff where they had been built more than 3,000 years ago. The alignment of the temple is such that twice a year the sun’s rays reach into the innermost sanctuary to illuminate the statues of Ptah, Amun - Re, Ramesses II and Re- Horakhy. Next, visit the famous Temple of Kom Ombo. Overlooking the Nile, this unique temple is, in fact, the fusion of two temples, set side by side, with each side having its own gateways and chapels. The left side of the temple is dedicated to Haroeris, the falcon-headed God. The right part of the temple is dedicated to Sobek, the crocodile-headed God, and the God of Fertility. Day 5 : Day 05: Onboard Cruise – Visit Temple of Edfu.

Upon arrival into Edfu, head onto a shore excursion to visit the Temple of Edfu. Of all the temples of ancient Egypt, the one at Edfu is not only the best preserved but the second largest after Karnak. The temple had been entirely submerged under the desert except for the very top of the pylon entrance. The temple is dedicated to Horus and was built in the Ptolemaic period. This temple is unusual as it was typically devoted to the afterlife. Overnight onboard the Nile Cruise

Day 6 : Day 06: Disembark. Visit the Valley of Kings & the West Bank Monuments. Visit Luxor and Karnak Temple. Onto Hurghada.

Enjoy the sights of the Nile River from the deck, as your Nile Cruise sails to Luxor via Esna Lock. On arrival in Luxor, visit the famous Temple of Luxor. There is magic in the tombs of the great Kings with their imposing architecture and marvelous paintings. Even after over 5,000 years, the pictures retain their original colors and tell the story of a civilization gone by. Visit Karnak Temple, it was a place of worship and provides clues about the ancient Egyptian religion. Later, proceed to Hurghada located on the Red Sea Coast. Overnight in Hurghada

Day 7 : Day 07: Enjoy Coral Reef tour at Red Sea.

Day 8 : Day 08 : Onto Cairo

Sit back in the comforts of your coach to enjoy a scenic long drive to Cairo. On arrival proceed to the Medieval Bazaars of Khan El-Khalili where you can shop for spices, precious stones, and curios. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 9 : Day 09: Day trip to Alexandria – the second largest city in Egypt.

Today, proceed on a day trip to Alexandria. On arrival, proceed on a city tour of Alexandria. Visit Pompeii’s Pillar, the only known free-standing column in Roman Egypt which was not composed of drums constructed in honor of the Roman Emperor Diocletian. Then continue to Qaitbay Citadel, a 15th-century defensive fortress. It was erected on the exact site of the famous Lighthouse of Alexandria, which was one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Drive past the Library of Alexandria, one of the largest and most significant libraries of the ancient world. It was dedicated to the Muses, the nine goddesses of the arts. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 10 : Day 10: Time to depart and fly back.

This will be applied for the age between 15 to 60 Years Old. Clients need to pay for this at Cairo Airport on arrival. This fee is applicable over and above tour cost quoted.

MEDICAL INSURANCE

Normal insurance charges for the duration of the tour are included in the tour price. However, any passenger above the age of 60 years and those passengers who wish to extend their stay will be required to pay additional charges.

 

 

IMPORTANT

·       The tour will be operated, subject to a minimum of 30 full paying passengers traveling together and maximum of 45 passengers or as per coach capacity.

·       Incase passengers want to travel on a particular date and the number of passengers booked are less than 29, there will be a Surcharge applicable on the said date to operate the tour. Kindly check with your Tour operator for the same.

·       The cost of the Passport, POE charges, etc.

·       Any expenses of personal nature such as porterage, laundry, wines, mineral / bottled water, food & drink not in the regular menus provided by us, mini bar and telephone calls.

·       Any increase in the rate of exchange leading to an increase in all land arrangements which may come into effect prior to departure.

·       Meals are pre-set and a choice of menu is not available.

·       The Mandatory driver tip of USD 05 per person per day is not included in the tour cost.

·       Arrival or Departure PCR – COVID test if required by the airline or Government bodies.

·       Cost of excursions, city sightseeing, entrance fees and local guides availed of by the passengers, other than that mentioned in the ‘What your tour price includes’.

Notes

·        The third person in a Triple room might not be provided with an extra bed or cot in some of the hotels, they may be provided only with a rollaway bed.

·        Triple rooms are subject to availability. In case Triple Rooms are not available at the hotel, the client will be provided with 01 Double Room + 01 Single Room at a supplementcost.

·        Sound & Light show is subject to Government approval and gets cancelled any time therefore the same will be subject to operation. Operationally Sound & Light show can be organized at any of the places that we get the tickets for.

·        Due to Fire Safety Compliance regulations, 4 guests in 1 room are not allowed in any hotel, therefore 02 adults and 2 children or 3 adults and 1 child will not be accommodated in 01 room. A maximum of 03 persons can be accommodated in a room.

·        Panoramic / Orientation city tour means view from your coach of the sights and monuments as you drive past. No visit to the sights/monuments and no photo stop might be provided.

·        Due to operational issues on some days, there might be packed meals offered.

·        Kindly note that on certain departure dates the tour routing could change. In some tours, there is also a possibility that the tour could operate in reverse itinerary. However, you will not miss any sightseeing or excursions that are mentioned in the itinerary.

·        Due to local events / operational reasons, etc. there may be a change in the departure dates. The same will be advised prior to departure.

·        Services of our Tour Manager or local representatives will be available while on tour.
