Day 1 : Konnichiwa Tokyo - Japan’s vibrant capital.

Welcome to Tokyo – a major cultural center offers a uniquely eclectic mix of traditional and contemporary attractions, home to neon-lit skyscrapers and historic temples. On arrival complete your immigration and customs formalities and then proceed to your conveniently located hotel. (Check-in after 15:00). Overnight in Tokyo.

Day 2 : Explore the city of Tokyo on the city tour. Visit the Meiji Jingu Shrine.

Today we proceed on the Guided city tour of Tokyo enjoying all the sights and sound of the city. Later proceed to the Observatory deck of Tokyo Tower – the self-supported steel tower. Proceed to Asakusa Sensoji Temple - an ancient Buddhist temple which is one of the most significant landmarks in Tokyo. Indulge in some souvenir shopping at Takeshita shopping Street. The bustling street is 250-meter-long and is occupied with colorful souvenir and other essentials shops. Visit Yoyogi Park for viewing of the Cherry Blossoms. Later proceed to Meiji Jingu Shrine in Shibuya. dedicated to the deified spirits of Emperor Meiji and his wife, Empress Shoken. The shrine was destroyed during the Second World War but was rebuilt shortly thereafter.

Day 3 : Enjoy a day trip to Mt. Fuji. Experience ropeway and enjoy scenic boat cruise on Lake Ashi. Visit Owakudani - “Great Boiling Valley”.

This morning, proceed to Mt. Fuji - the highest and most famous mountain in Japan. It rises 3,776 meters above sea level. It is considered as one of the most beautiful conical volcanoes in the world and the base of Mt. Fuji forms an almost perfect circle stretching 35 to 40 km from east to west and north to south. The volcano has been inactive for over 250 years. Experience Hakone ropeway and later enjoy panoramic view of Mt. Fuji from the Cruise on Lake Ashi. Proceed to Owakudani (observatory) – the great boiling valley. It is famous for its black eggs, which are boiled in sulfurous waters to give the eggshells a distinctive color. It is an active volcanic valley.

Day 4 : Hiroshima via Bullet Train. Visit the Hiroshima Atomic Bomb Dome & Museum. Visit the impressive Miyajima Island.

Early morning proceed to the station to board the Hi-speed Bullet train to Hiroshima. On arrival proceed on a city tour of Hiroshima. Visit the Hiroshima Atomic Bomb Dome & Museum - An international symbol for the abolition of nuclear weapons and lasting world peace. Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, located in the center of Hiroshima City. This has been designated as a World Heritage site. Later proceed to Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, dedicated to the legacy of Hiroshima as the first city in the world to suffer a nuclear attack and to the memories of the bomb's direct and indirect victims. The Children's Peace Monument is a statue dedicated to the memory of the children who died because of the bombing. Later proceed to Miyajima also known as Itsukushima, a small island in Hiroshima Bay by Ferry. It marks the entrance to the Itsukushima Shrine, which was built initially in the 12th century. The Shrine is also known for its "floating" wooden Torii gate, unique for being built over water, seemingly floating in the sea during high tide. The presence of a Torii at the entrance is usually the simplest way to identify Shinto Shrines, and a small Torii icon represents them on Japanese Maps. Note: Due to limited baggage space on the Bullet train, we proceed only with Hand Baggage and overnight requirements. One check-in baggage may be transported directly to Osaka hotel by a Courier Service.

Day 5 : Osaka – Manchester of Japan. Visit the historic Osaka Castle.

Today morning proceed to the Osaka by Surface. On arrival into Osaka, visit the historic Osaka Castle. The Osaka Castle was built in 1583 but went through a number of reconstruction bouts, the latest being in 1997. The castle now stands with a modern interior in a museum-like style. The castle tower is surrounded by secondary citadels, gates, turrets, impressive stone walls, and moats. Later, enjoy some free time, street shopping around Shinsaibashi street. Shinsaibashi is the oldest and busiest shopping destination in Osaka, which runs about 600 meters in length.

Day 6 : Enjoy a full day sightseeing tour of Kyoto.

Today we proceed on a full day tour of Kyoto. Start the journey by visiting the Kinkakuji Temple - a Zen Buddhist temple. It is one of the most popular buildings in Japan. It is designated as a National Special Historic Site, a National Special Landscape and is one of 17 locations making up the Historical Monuments of Ancient Kyoto which are World Heritage Sites. Later proceed to the Arashiyama Bamboo Groove – one of Kyoto's top sights and for good reason: standing amid these soaring stalks of bamboo is like being in another world. Visit the Nanzen-ji Temple to find some incredibly stunning cherry blossoms. The temple grounds are gorgeous, covered in a thick canopy of foliage. This alone creates a nice, secluded atmosphere for wandering Nanzenji's grounds.

Day 7 : Enjoy a guided city tour of Osaka. Castle. Traditional Japanese Tea Ceremony.

Proceed to Nara to visit the Todaiji Temple - a Buddhist temple complex, that was once, one of the mighty Seven Great Temples. It’s Great Buddha Hall, houses the world's most massive wooden statue of the Buddha Vairocana. Deer are regarded as messengers of the Gods in the Shinto religion, visit the Nara Deer Park to see the deer roam the grounds freely. The Nara Deer Park located at the foot of Mount Wakarusa was established in 1880 and over 1,200 wild Sika deer freely stroll around the park that stretches over to about 502 hectares. Later in the afternoon, enjoy the traditional Japanese Tea Ceremony. It is a ceremonial way of preparing and drinking green tea typically in a traditional tearoom with tatami floor. Beyond just serving and receiving tea, one of the main purposes of the tea ceremony is for the guests to enjoy the hospitality of the host.

Day 8 : Depart and fly back.

A wonderful Holiday into this dreamland of Japan gracefully ends. Check out (standard check-out time 1100hrs) and depart for the Airport for your flight back to India.

Notes

·        Triple room is not very common in Japan therefore cost for Triple room will be provided only once requested. Twin room price will not be applicable for Triple room.

·        Third person in a Triple room might not be provided with an extra bed or cot in some of the hotels, they may be provided only with a rollaway bed.

·        Due to Fire Safety Compliance regulations, 4 guests in 1 room are not allowed in any hotel, therefore 02 adults and 02 children or 03 adults and 01 child will not be accommodated in 01 room.

·        A maximum of 03 persons can be accommodated in a room.

·        Panoramic/ Orientation city tour means view from your coach of the sights and monuments as you drive past. No visit to the sights/monuments and no photostop might be provided.

·        Due to operational issues on some days, there might be packed meals offered.

·        Service of our Tour Manager or local representatives will be available while on tour.

·        Kindly note that on certain departure dates the tour routing could change. In some tours, there is also a possibility that the tour could operate in reverse itinerary. However, you will not miss any sightseeing or excursions that are mentioned in the itinerary.
