Day 1 : Arrive into Cairo – Capital of Egypt. Enjoy Sound & Light Show at the Giza Pyramids.

Welcome to Egypt - the Land of the Pharaohs. On arrival, proceed to your conveniently located hotel (Check-in after 15:00). Later this evening, experience the spectacular Sound and Light Show at the Giza Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure and enjoy the history of the ancient Egyptians. The show begins with the story of the Sphinx who has been the vigilant guardian of the Pyramids for five thousand years. Overnight at the hotel in Cairo. (Dinner)

Day 2 : Day trip to the beautiful Alexandria.

Today, we drive to Alexandria, proceed on a guided city tour of Alexandria. View the Pompeii’s Pillar, constructed in honor of the Emperor Diocletian at the end of 4th century AD. Then proceed to Qaitbay Citadel, which was erected on the exact site of the famous Lighthouse of Alexandria, which was one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Later visit The Great Library of Alexandria in Alexandria, Egypt, was one of the largest and most significant libraries of the ancient world. After visiting the Library of Alexandria, we start our return journey to Cairo. Overnight at the hotel in Cairo. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 3 : Enjoy a guided city tour of Cairo with visit to Egyptian Museum. Visit the Khan El Khalili Bazaar.

Today, we take you on a guided city tour of Cairo. See the Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure. Also, enjoy an outside view of the Sphinx, carved from the natural bedrock at the bottom of the causeway to Khafre’s pyramid. Later visit the Papyrus fair and see the beautiful paintings beingmade, perfume factory and cotton shop. Next, we visit the Egyptian Museum, which houses over 100,000 antiquities from every period of ancient Egyptian history. Entrance to Mummies room is included in this tour. Later, proceed to the medieval Bazaars of Khan-El-Khalili where you can shop for spices, precious stones and curios. Overnight at the hotel in Cairo. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 4 : Flight to Aswan. Enjoy a guided city tour of Aswan. Board your Cruise to sail on River Nile.

Early morning drive to airport for the flight to Aswan. On arrival in Aswan, proceed to the city of Aswan for a guided tour with visit to the High Dam of Aswan - the pride of Egypt and an ideal spot for a panoramic view of Aswan. This is where Egypt ends and Nubia begins. We then take you to see the Unfinished Obelisk. This Obelisk was never detached from the rock as it developed cracks in several places. Later, we return to Aswan and board our legendary Nile Cruise for a great three-day journey on the scenic Nile River. Overnight on board the Cruise. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 5 : On-board Cruise – Visit Abu Simbel & Temple of Kom Ombo.

After collecting your box breakfast, proceed to visit Abu Simbel by coach. Abu Simbel has two magnificent temples - temple of Ramesses II and the Temple of Nefertari. The Temples were threatened by submersion in the Lake Nasser, due to the construction of the High Dam. During the salvage operation, which continued until 1968, the two temples were dismantled and raised over 60 meters up on the sandstone cliff where they had been built more than 3,000 years before. Next, we visit the famous Temple of Kom Ombo, overlooking the Nile, this unique temple is in fact the fusion of two temples, set side by side, with each side having its own gateways and chapels. The left side of the temple is dedicated to Haroeris, the falcon headed God. The right part of the temple is dedicated to Sobek, the crocodile headed God and God of Fertility. Return to the cruise for lunch as we continue to sail on River Nile. Overnight on board the Cruise. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 6 : On-board Cruise – Visit Edfu. Sail to Luxor.

Arrive Edfu and take a shore excursion to visit the Temple of Edfu. Of all the temples of ancient Egypt, the one at Edfu is not only the best preserved, but the second largest after Karnak. The temple is dedicated to Horus and was built in the Ptolemaic period. This temple is unusual in that way is that it is on the west bank of the river which was normally dedicated to the afterlife. Enjoy the sights of the Nile River from the deck, as your Nile Cruise sails to Luxor via the Esna Lock. On arrival in Luxor, we visit the famous Temple of Luxor. There is magic in the tombs of the great Kings with their imposing architecture and marvelous paintings. Overnight on board the Cruise. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 7 : On-board Cruise – Visit the West Bank & Valley of Kings.

Today, we visit the West Bank of Luxor, the gateway to the amazing Valley of the Kings. This is the place where generations of pharaohs and nobles were buried in great splendor, housed in crypts cut into the cliffs. On our return, we take a photo- stop at the Colossi of Memnon. These two giant statues are all that remain of the mortuary temple of Amenophis III. Next, our excursion takes as to explore Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the only woman Pharaoh to have ruled Egypt. Disembark from the Cruise and board your coach to proceed to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Luxor. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 8 : Fly back home.

Your Holiday ends, today it’s time to fly back home. Check out and depart for the Airport for the flight home. (Breakfast)

    • The cost of Egypt visa is included in your tour price with documentation, processing and consulate fees.

      MEDICAL INSURANCE

      • Normal insurance charges for the duration of the tour are included in the tour price. However, any passenger above the age of 59 years and those passengers who wish to extend their stay will be required to pay additional charges.

      Price Excludes

      • The cost of the Passport, POE charges, etc.
      • Any expenses of personal nature such as porterage, laundry, wines, mineral/bottled water, food & drink not in the regular menus provided by us, mini bar and telephone calls.
      • The Mandatory driver tip of USD 05 per person per day is not included in the tour cost.
      • Meals are pre-set and a choice of menu is not available.
      • Cost of excursions, city sightseeing, entrance fees and local guides availed of by the passengers, other than that mentioned in the ‘What your tour price includes’.
      • High season surcharge applicable for Christmas & New Year advised over and above tour cost mentioned.
      • Government Service Taxes and other taxes as applicable.

      TIPS

      • Driver/Guide/Services tips of USD 05 per person per day applicable for the duration of the tour, total applicable tips would be USD 40 per person i.e. per adult as well as child.

      • The tour will be operated subject to a minimum of 30 full paying passengers travelling together In the event that the group size is less than 30 passengers you will be given an option of travelling on another departure date.
      • High season surcharge to be applicable on 22 Dec’19 dates @ USD 180 per pax i.e. adult as well as chd.
